~ Scottie Parrots ~Where two passions are indulged!Lisa McManus is an aviculturist in Aurora, Colorado. Caring for birds and breeding birds has been a growing passion for her for over a decade and every day brings new discoveries. The journey continues and still proves to be extremely edifying. Conures are a main focus, but Lisa enjoys all avian species. Currently she is breeding 15 species of conures: blue crowns, roseifrons, peach fronts, half moons, crimson bellies, nandays, mitreds, slender billed, patagonians, suns, black caps, red throated, white eared, painted, and cinnamon green cheeks. She also breeds yellow crowned amazons; Hahn's, yellow collared and severe macaws; canary wing parakeets; red and yellow barbets; white belly caiques; timneh greys; meyers; red rumped parakeets; and moustache parakeets. Education is the top priority. If you would like to learn more about a species or which species might be right for you, or if you are interested in finding answers in other areas, just ask. If Lisa does not have the answer, she will find it. Scottish Terriers have been a part of Lisa's life for over twenty years. There is nothing cuter than a scottie puppy! And their obstinant and independent ways suit Lisa perfectly. Check back for more information and pictures of scotties. |
